HCAC - McKesson Medical Partnership Grows
McKesson Medical-Surgical Field Representative Greg Verschelden presents the HCAC with a check for more than $6,500 as a result of 3rd quarter sales in the McKesson medical supply program. Accepting the check for HCAC was Executive Director Ellen Caruso who said this check was the second highest on record for the program that has been growing steadily over the past three years. Verschelden said the increase in quarterly sales under the partnership program is due largely to the sale of flu vaccines. HCAC members receive special contract pricing on all products available through McKesson, and in addition receive rebated/contract pricing through select manufacturers’ product lines. HCAC's agreement calls for administrative fees to be paid, based on the program's net sales. As the association's dividend increases, the savings to member agencies increases as well. Verschelden and Caruso said they are both happy with the win-win arrangement. All HCAC members are eligible for the group buying program.
