- Consumer Rights &
Responsibilities: Acceptance of submitted comments and draft rule language
with amendments. Most of the discussion around the proper notification of
the consumer when across the board rate increases occur within an agency and
consumer notification when care plan changes or reimbursement changes
causing a change in consumer responsibilities.
- Tabled Emergency
Preparedness discussion until break out group sessions identify specific
requirements for different agency types (HH and non-medical).
- Accepted Infection
Control proposed guidelines.
- Discussion to
restructure meetings to provide more efficiency and facilitation of
progression through designated agenda topics. Vote taken to extend meetings
to 6 hours every 2 weeks with break-out sessions for topic specific issues
where provider types would choose which group to participate for work
sessions. Suggestions made to facilitator regarding more structured agenda
with time keeping. Meeting schedule to be revised when dates, times, and
meeting locations identified.
