Sen. Dave Owen Honored as Friend of Home Care

Sen. Dave Owen (R-Weld County) of Greeley, was recognized as a "Friend of Home Care" for his untiring support over many years of home care and other community based health care services. Sen. Owen, an influential member of the Legislative Joint Budget Committee, was instrumental in bringing about $30 Million in rate increases beginning on April 1, 2006, for home health, HCBS and private duty nursing in Colorado.
