ACS is the fiscal agent for the Colorado Medical Assistance Program. ACS has been
the agent since 1998. We are contracted by the State to administer State
directed Medical Assistance Program billing and payment policy. As the fiscal agent we: process claims; perform provider services
and prior authorization review; enroll providers for EDI (Electronic Claim
Submission); and Maintain the MMIS computer system. At this year’s conference
the Provider Field Representatives are here to promote the State’s Web Portal
by providing copies of the Provider EDI Application and to answer general
questions about billing the Colorado Medical Assistance Program for Home Health,
Hospice and State Waiver (HCBS) Programs.
