Home Care March on
Washington:

HCAC's annual trek to
the nation's capitol was
successful with visits
made to all nine of
Colorado's congressional
offices. Elected
officials and their
health care staffs were
educated about the
disastrous effects of
imposing a co-pay on
home health services and
were asked to support
legislation to allow
nurse practitioners and
physician assistants to
order home health.

learning course has been
updated and revamped and
is now ready for
registrations!
Agencies can complement
their orientation of new
nurses with an online
course available
monthly, either through
a facilitated or

applications using
actual case scenarios to
challenge critical
thinking skills.
And, 24 continuing
education credits will
be granted for
coursework upon
completion!
This course has been
written, designed and
developed by home health
nurses.

last 4 weeks. The
Independent Study Course
will allow the user to
complete the course at
their own pace.
